History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Lucan has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Lucan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Lucan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Lucan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Thiala has worked very hard to control her curse. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
