History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'5" when asserting herself. Her hair is short and blonde. She has gray eyes and a yellow hat with a white feather.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: Quespa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she's in love

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Yevelda grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has shaved his head bald. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Osah lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a club and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born in the east to a Doctor, Ea learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
