History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Artin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Thradal was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Hubert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. A true patriot, Phelaia would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Phelaia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Merchant mother left her crippled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
