History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Morthos learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Morthos grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Morthos. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Azzakh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Cressel hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Cressel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance.
