Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Dagger was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolf. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Elysande abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mialee was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has worked as a Jeweler like her father before her.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jade is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Jade has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.
