History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Scribe and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: She was born into a rich family. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents enrolled her in a Expert school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Kasdeya was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Kasdeya was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kasdeya decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Barber kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gilbert was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
