Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Mercenary, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new seamstress responsibilities is difficult

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears blue trousers with tan and red striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her red hair is heavily combed to the right. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She hates Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Mella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mella took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up warhammer and armor she uses now. She bought a warhammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Quarethon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Himo would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Himo reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Stableman.
