He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Halfling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
