History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ethereal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Vanchu reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A freak accident while working with her Sage mother left her crippled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
