History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the west to a Roofer, Merla learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Roofer. She has achieved small success as a Roofer.

History: Baelitae was born with her mother's beautiful face. Baelitae liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
