His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and further expansion of business

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, Ootah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has worked as a Masseuse like her mother before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Masseuse responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job
