History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pearl was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age her father died while driving off some goblins. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scimitar use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Pearl was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
