Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He takes great joy in being the best Miller in town.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Marastyr was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
