History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Kaladan took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kaladan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
