During her travels, Edge and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Edge discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Edge fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Howard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Aura was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Galiena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cook born in the past three hundred years. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. After months of barely getting by, Habor managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
