History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

History: She got into the Performer business at a young age. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Performer. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his brother

History: Pog lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second son.
