History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
