History: Born to a Blacksmith, her father struggled to pay the bills. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. During her travels, Sariel and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sariel discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sariel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
