During his travels, Sweet and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sweet discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sweet fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate.
