History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire
