History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thorpe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Neega was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
