Through the years after Synthrin was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Synthrin's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. A true patriot, Duergath would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Duergath was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Slave Trader for the past few years.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Emerald lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Painter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Engraver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uthemar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uthemar. He has achieved small success as a Body Guard.
