Philomena was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tanner. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lidda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
