Description: She prefers to wear flannel, and she perpetually has her flail ready. Her hair is blonde and curly. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.
History: Xanaphia was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Xanaphia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Money/treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mindartis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He takes great joy in being the best Adventurer in town.
History: Born in the south to a Adventurer, Robert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by his family; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She tends to her Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Thamuz was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
