History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
