Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born in the east. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Dagnal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Dagnal was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.
