Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Valanthe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Valanthe has worked very hard to control her curse. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Birel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Birel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to unite with her brother

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fivin embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Fivin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Fivin was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ûkrom is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
