Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a great chef.

History: Valanthe hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

History: Shivering was born the youngest of three triplets. Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Gnome Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
