Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Werydd was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mindartis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He bought a hammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. One day when Traki was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Traki was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Veloptima's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
