Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Qualen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

History: Kothûg was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
