History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Hatae learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
