History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Shifting was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shifting's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Gardain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Calcitro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
