History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
