History: Spear was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Traki learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Tiaathque has worked very hard to control her curse. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
