History: Agnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Wymar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
