History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Lerissa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lerissa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lerissa and her spouse have recently divorced.
