History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Roywyn was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Brottor was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Brottor's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man has the majority of his body covered in plate and is in decent physical shape. He has no fur. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: Jarsali is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Jarsali never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: An older man who wears baggy black pantaloons and a violet scarf, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gold.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
