History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bather arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Megren hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has worked as a Ruler like her mother before her.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
