History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His first spouse was a Shepherd, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Roofer and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
