History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Description: A man of a pale complexion, he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but she was a colossal failure. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Slave Trader kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Fragrant was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
