She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Melissa took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Alain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Finellen has worked very hard to control her curse. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by unlife.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Damaia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
