History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Detective, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Scribe like her father before her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears a yellow armored body suit, with a simple white line shooting up and back down. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her auburn hair in a pixie cut. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 26. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Althaea never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
