History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Sellsword, but she got bored and became a Carpenter. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His childhood dream was to be a Priest, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.
