History: Spear was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born in the north to a Mayor, Mastema learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
