Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her hair is brown and curly. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Merla was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Merla decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She tends to wear a large grey jacket. Her auburn hair is lengthy. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marastyr grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marastyr. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She is content.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a yellow armored body suit, with a simple white line shooting up and back down. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are gray and beady.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Gennal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gennal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gennal and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. She wears her beige fur down. Her copper eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To end her boredom; and she is content

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Gifted from a young age, Hamil studied abroad. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
