History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Thodris was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
