History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gilbert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gilbert. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Efferil was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
