History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Crampernap was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bowyer. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he loathes his own lifestyle
