History: Birel was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Nissa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nissa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gale alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
