Description: Standing 3'6", this woman is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, green shirt, and brown tie. Her black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Pyntle lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was a Carpenter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to unite with her sister

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a blue vest and prefers violet and pastel shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has dyed her greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is a great chef.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was born into a rich family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. She has dyed her greying rusty crest a little too much giving a sharp rusty color. Her half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student she started as a Fisher, but she got bored and became a Sculptor. She has achieved small success as a Sculptor.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born in the west. Through the years after Thradal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thradal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thradal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.
